What are the rules of behaviour at the craps table? The craps game has rules and etiquette. There is a certain etiquette that craps players stick to. A bet is placed while the dice are in the middle of the table.Before you make a bet have it clear in your mind what bets you are going to place. Players handle the dice with one hand. To change hands you put the dice on the table, let go, then take them with the other hand. The player should hit the wall at the opposite end of the table throwing the dice. A more controllable short roll is called a "no roll". A die or both that left the table are also "no roll". Deales aren't allowed to hand chips directly to a player and touch the players. Players should lay the cash down on the layout, the dealer will take it and then place chips in front of the player. Like any other table game, the casino can ask a player to leave the table or the casino for any reason. A player may pass the dice to the next player when offered the dice to shoot. One player must always be a shooter. He should bet on either the pass line or don't pass line to continue the game. Tip the dealers. In the US dealers aren't paid much. The most common way of tipping is to toss chips onto the table and say, "For the dealers" or "For the boys". It is also common to place a bet for the dealers. A two-way bet is partly for the player and partly for the dealers. The the dealers' bet is appreciated, but usually it is smaller than the player's. Line bets.
Line bets can be placed on the area marked ‘Pass Line’ and ‘Don’t Pass line’ area. Here Pass Line and Don’t Pass line bets are available. In the case of a win with line bets you are paid an amount equal to your bet and the bet amount itself. Remember that all the players are allowed to make odds bets, though the house doesn’t want to encourage odds bets. Remember that you can make an odds bet any time after a comeout point is rolled. Every player is allowed to make, to withdraw or to reinstate an odds bet anytime after the comeuot and before sevening out. In the case of a win take all the money and chips off the table. You have to take your chips off the table and if you want them to work further put them back on the table behind your line bet. The Pass Line Bet is one of the most common wagers in Craps. To make a pass line bet click on the Pass Line area of the table. If 7 or 11 is rolled pass line bets win. Pass Line bets lose if the total of 2,3 or 12 is rolled. If the point is rolled you are to continue rolling until you have the same number. If the point rolls again before 7 it is a win. If you seven out before rolling the point number again you lose. You get paid even money if you win Pass Line bets. The Odds Bet isn’t as common as the pass line bet. At the casinos there is no special area for odds bets. One Roll Bets are made by clicking on the corresponding area of the Betting Layout. There are seven One Roll bets. The payout depends on the kind if the bet. Any Seven pays 4 to 1. Any Craps (2, 3 and 12) pays 7 to 1. Eleven (YO) and 3 pay 15 to 1. Hi-Lo (2 and 12) pays 30 to 1. Horn Bet (2, 3, 11 and 12) pays 7 to 1 (2 or 12) or 3 to 1 (3 or 11). Hardway Bet is made by clicking on the corresponding area of the craps table. There are four kinds of Hardway Bet. Hardway bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. To force a bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. If a pair is rolled before a 7 or any other combination of the Hardway number is rolled you win. If you have a hard 4 and 10 the payout is 7:1. If you have a hard 6 and 8 the payout is 9:1. Field Bet is a one-roll bet. You can make a field bet on any roll. You win even money if 3,4,9,10 or 11 rolls. If you have 2 or 12 you are paid 2:1. If any other number is rolled you lose. To make a field bet you have to click on the corresponding area on the Betting Layout. The Buy Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without making a Pass Line or Come bet. Buy bets pay correct odds but you 5% will be taken out by the house. A buy bet wins if the number rolls before a 7. To make a Buy Bet you have to click on one of the numbers of the table. Buy bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. Lay Bets is based on selecting a number and placing a bet on it. To win Lay Bet a 7 has to roll before the selected number rolls. To make a lay bet you have to click on the corresponding area of the betting layout. Lay bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. The Don't Pass Bet is the opposite of the Pass Line bet. Click on the corresponding area of the betting layout to make a Don't Pass bet. The Don't Pass Bet wins on the comeout if the shooter rolls 2 or 3. There is a push if the shooter rolls 12. In the case of a push nobody wins and nobody loses. The Don't Pass Bet loses if the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11. The Don't Pass bet pays 1 to 1 odds. Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet You can make an Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet after the shooter establishes the point. To make an odds bet you have to click on your original Don't Pass bet. If the point number is a 4 or a 10 the payout is 2:1. If the point number is a 5 or a 9 the payout is 3:1. If you have a 6 or a 8 the payout is 6:5. The Don't Come Bet The Don't Come bet is the opposite of the Come Bet. The Don't Come bet can only be made while the shooter is trying to repeat the point-number. Click on the Don't Come button to place a Don't Come Bet. You can make odds bets on the don’t come bets. C & E Bet The C bet is exactly the same as a bet on any craps. The E bet is the same as a bet on eleven. This is just another place to make those bets.
