Playing Private Craps
Bank craps is played by one or more players against a casino. The casino covers all player bets at a table and sets the odds on its payout. Players take turns rolling two dice. The dice are rolled by the "shooter". Bets are made on the shooter's dice rolls by other players at the table. The game is played in rounds. The first roll of a new round is called the "come-out roll". A player who wants to be a shooter must bet the table minimum on either the "Pass" line or the "Don't Pass" line. 5 dice are presented to the shooter by the stickman. Two of them are picked. The come-out roll is over if the numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 are rolled, and they become the Point. The shooter continues until he rolls either the point or a seven. A large number of bets for each round or each roll can be made by players. There are four casino employees in a casino craps. The chips are guarded, the dealers are supervised and the coloring out players is handled by a boxman. Bets are collected and paid by two base dealers standing to either side of the boxman. Across the table from the boxman a stickman stands. The bets are taken, the results of each roll are announced, the dice are collected and the dealers are directed to pay winners by him. Each employee makes sure winners are paid out correctly. The dealers usually insist that the shooter roll with one hand and that the dice bounce off the far wall of the table. This helps to keep the game fair.Private craps is played outside of a casino. In street craps there is no bank to cover bets. For the game to be played players' bets against each other are covered or faded. Depending on the laws and usage of money instead of chips street craps can be illegal. There are many variations of street craps. Unlike more complex proposition bets offered by casinos, street craps has more simplified betting options. If the shooter wants to roll the dice he is required to make either a Pass or a Don't Pass bet. Another player must choose to cover the shooter to create a stake for the game to continue. The shooter will always be betted against by the person covering him. As long as there is another player willing to cover the shooter other players may make bets.

An amount equal to the initial amount is saved after every eventual win. But after the bet is doubled several times the player can be out of money. The casino wouldn't allow to bet the huge amount. The Martingale system keeps a profit equal to the initial bet amount.

The free odds bets are made on pass/don't pass & come/don't come. The casino edge can be reduced by taking full odds on their pass/don't pass & come/don't come bets.
The Iron Cross
The Iron Cross is a bet that allows the player to win on every roll that is not a seven. A field bet and place bets on the 5, 6 and 8 make the Iron Cross. This strategy doesn't create a mathematical advantage for the player.
Gambler's fallacy
It is the belief that the probabilities of future dice rolls are influenced by the past dice rolls. In reality, each roll of the dice is an independent event. The probability of rolling an eleven is exactly 1/18 on every roll.
Parity hedge system
Many craps players "hedge their bets" at the table. Multiple bets which minimise the risk of losing are made.
Dice setting or dice control
This system presupposes that the dice are thrown in a special manner. The theory is that the dice shows certain numbers. Casinos take steps to prevent this. The dice must hit the back wall of the table. It helps to make the controll of the spins more difficult.
