Dice Game Etiquette

How do you behave at the craps table? There are craps etiquette rules besides the rules of the game itself. Craps players stick to a certain etiquette. A bet is placed while the dice are in the middle of the table. Before you make a bet have it clear in your mind what bets you are going to place. Players aren't supposed to handle the dice with more than one hand. The only way to change hands is to put the dice on the table, let go, then take them with the other hand. The dice should hit the wall at the opposite end of the table When they are thrown. A short roll will be called a "no roll" because it is more controllable. It is also a "no roll" if a die or both dice leave the table. Deales aren't allowed to hand chips directly to a player and touch the players. The dealer takes the cash laid down on the layout and places chips in front of the player. Like any other table game, the casino can ask a player to leave the table or the casino for any reason. A player may pass the dice to the next player when offered the dice to shoot. A shooter must be one of the players. To continue the game he should bet on either the pass line or don't pass line. Tip the dealers. Dealers in the US don't get that much. Tossing chips onto the table and saying "For the dealers" or "For the boys" is the most common way of tipping. To place a bet for the dealers is also common. A two-way bet is one that is part for the player and part for the dealers. Usually, the dealers' bet is smaller than the player's bet, but it is appreciated. Changed dice in the middle of the roll are bad luck. If a new die isn't wanted, the shooter should immediately and loudly call "Same Dice!". Food, drinks, cigarettes, and other things are remained off the chip rail and aren't held over the table. Leaving the table after a successful come-out roll is felt to be bad luck. Players' hands should be removed from the table area when the shooter is ready to roll. "Hands high, let 'em fly" or "dice are out, hands high" is often said by the stickman. Only when when the player is preparing to leave the table should the coloring up be done. Coloring up and then staying for one more round is generally permitted. But to color up multiple times while at the same table is impolite.

It is not wise to play the game, especially with big bets, if you are inexperienced in the game. Make sure you know the rules and some peculiarities of the game before betting. Some casinos gave its players an opportunity to practise the game before playing for real money. The more prepared you are, the better results you can expect. It is not a secret that there are bets, which are called smart bets. It is not difficult to define such bets. It is important to know and then to make correct bets. In comparison with other bets there exist bets with the lower house edge. Such bets are called smart strategies. Every player must have his own money management strategy. In fact, this is the winning strategy for you, as it will prevent you from losing a lot. Every individual player should set a limit on how much he or she are aiming to win, and how much they are prepared or can afford to lose. The way you play and the way you behave are very important in the game of Craps. So, try to play smart and to maintain discipline. This the golden rule of the game.
Martingale system
Craps can be beaten by no system. But players believe in it. The best known is the Martingale System. The player starts by betting a given amount and doubles his bet whenever he loses. When he wins he starts over at the initial amount. To save an amount equal to the initial amount after every eventual win is the idea. But after doubling the bet several times the player can be run out of money. The huge amount dictated by the system won't be allowed to be betted by the casino. The Martingale system helps to keep a profit equal to the initial bet amount every time the player wins.
Free Odds Basic Strategy
Bets made on pass/don't pass & come/don't come are the free odds bets. The casino edge can be reduced by taking full odds on their pass/don't pass & come/don't come bets.
The Iron Cross
The player is allowed to win on every roll that is not a seven with the Iron Cross. Place bets on the 5, 6 and 8 and a field bet are the Iron Cross. This strategy doesn't create a mathematical advantage for the player.
Gambler's fallacy
It is the belief that past dice rolls influence the probabilities of future dice rolls. In reality, each roll of the dice is an independent event. On every roll the probability of rolling an eleven is exactly 1/18.
Parity hedge system
Many craps players "hedge their bets". They make multiple bets which minimise the risk of losing.
Dice setting or dice control
This system presupposes that the dice are thrown in a special manner. That the dice will be more likely to show certain numbers is the theory. To prevent this steps are taken by casinos. The back wall of the table is required to be hit. The controll of the spins is made more difficult.
