Dice Game Bet For The Dealers
How do you behave at the craps table? There are craps etiquette rules besides the rules of the game itself. Craps players stick to a certain etiquette. A bet is placed while the dice are in the middle of the table.Make up your mind what bets to place. The dice isn't supposed to be handled with more than one hand. To put the dice on the table, let go, then take them with the other hand is the only way to change hands. When throwing the dice, the player should hit the wall at the opposite end of the table. A more controllable short roll is called a "no roll". If a die or both dice leave the table, it is also a "no roll". The players aren't allowed to be touched by the dealers, and chips aren't allowed to be handled directly. The dealer takes the cash laid down on the layout and places chips in front of the player. A player can leave the table or the casino for any reason, asked by the casino. When offered the dice to shoot, a player may pass the dice to the next player without fear of offending anyone. One player must always be a shooter. Pass line or don't pass line should be betted by him to continue the game. Do tip the dealers. Dealers in the US don't get that much. To tip the dealers the chips are tossed onto the table and it is said "For the dealers" or "For the boys". Placing a bet for the dealers is also common. A two-way bet is one that is part for the player and part for the dealers. Though the the dealers' bet is smaller than the player's bet, it is appreciated. It is considered bad luck to change dice in the middle of a roll. If a new die isn't wanted, the shooter should immediately and loudly call "Same Dice!". Food, drinks, cigarettes, and other things shouldn't be held over the table and should remain off the chip rail. Leaving the table after a successful come-out roll is felt to be bad luck. Players' hands should be removed from the table area when the shooter is ready to roll. The stickman will often say "hands high, let 'em fly" or "dice are out, hands high". Coloring up is done only when the player leaves the table. It is permitted to color up and then decide to stay for one more round. But coloring up multiple times while at the same table is impolite.
A player can choose one of numerous bets.
Line bets.
There is a ‘Pass Line’ and ‘Don’t Pass Line’ area, where line bets can be placed. You have to choose either ‘Pass line’ or ‘don’t pass line’ bet. Line bets pay 1:1. You place your bet on a ‘pass line bet’ area if you think that the shooter will roll 7 or 11 on the comeout roll or that the shooter will role one of the point numbers and will roll it again before rolling a 7 (sevening out). If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area.
Odds on a Line Bet.
If the point number is rolled on the comeout the player is allowed to take true odds against a 7 appearing before the point number is rolled again. You can bet an additional amount up to the amount of your line bet. This bet is called an odds bet. In different casinos the odds bets are different. In some casinos the odds bet amount is the amount equal to the line bet amount or lower. Some casinos allow making odds bets of two, three or even more times the amount of the line bet. The odds bet is paid at a rate equal to the odds of that point number being made before a 7 is rolled. The area for placing odds bets is behind pass line bets. Be aware that you will not find an area for the odds bets on the craps table. Remember that all the players are allowed to make odds bets, though the house doesn’t want to encourage odds bets. Remember that you can make an odds bet any time after a comeout point is rolled. Every player is allowed to make, to withdraw or to reinstate an odds bet anytime after the comeuot and before sevening out. All money and chips have to be taken off the table in the case of a win. You have to take your chips off the table and if you want them to work further put them back on the table behind your line bet. The Pass Line Bet is one of the most common wagers in Craps. To make a pass line bet click on the Pass Line area of the table. Pass Line bets win if the total of 7 or 11 is rolled. If you have made a pass line bet and the total rolled is 2,3 or 12 you lose. You have to continue rolling if you roll a point. If the point rolls again before 7 it is a win. If you seven out before rolling the point number again you lose. Pass Line bets pay 1:1. The Odds Bet isn’t as common as the pass line bet. At the casinos there is no special area for odds bets. The player should always remember that he has a right to make a odds bet. If you make an odds bet you believe that the shooter will roll the second point number before rolling a 7. To place an odds bet you have to click on the area behind the pass line area. Be aware that you can make an odds bet only if the shooter rolls a point number. Point numbers 4 or 10 pay 1:2 in the case of a win. If the point number is 5 or 9 the payoff is 3:2. If the point number is 6 or 8 the payout is 6:5. The Place Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without having to make a Pass Line or Come bet. Click on the PLACE area on the Craps table to make a place bet. The place bet is turned off by default during a comeout roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are like regular place bets. Big 6 and Big 8 bets pay even money. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. One Roll Bets are made by clicking on the corresponding area of the Betting Layout. There are seven One Roll bets. The payout depends on the kind if the bet. Any Seven pays 4 to 1. Any Craps (2, 3 and 12) pays 7 to 1. Eleven (YO) and 3 pay 15 to 1. Hi-Lo (2 and 12) pays 30 to 1. Horn Bet (2, 3, 11 and 12) pays 7 to 1 (2 or 12) or 3 to 1 (3 or 11). Hardway Bet is made by clicking on the corresponding area of the craps table. There are four kinds of Hardway Bet. Hardway bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. To force a bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. If a pair is rolled before a 7 or any other combination of the Hardway number is rolled you win. If you have a hard 4 and 10 the payout is 7:1. If you have a hard 6 and 8 the payout is 9:1. Field Bet is a one-roll bet. You can make a field bet on any roll. You win even money if 3,4,9,10 or 11 rolls. If you have 2 or 12 you are paid 2:1. If any other number is rolled you lose. To make a field bet you have to click on the corresponding area on the Betting Layout. The Buy Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without making a Pass Line or Come bet. Buy bets pay correct odds but you 5% will be taken out by the house. A buy bet wins if the number rolls before a 7. To make a Buy Bet you have to click on one of the numbers of the table. Buy bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. Lay Bets is based on selecting a number and placing a bet on it. To win Lay Bet a 7 has to roll before the selected number rolls. To make a lay bet you have to click on the corresponding area of the betting layout. Lay bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. The Don't Pass Bet is the opposite of the Pass Line bet. Click on the corresponding area of the betting layout to make a Don't Pass bet. The Don't Pass Bet wins on the comeout if the shooter rolls 2 or 3. There is a push if the shooter rolls 12. In the case of a push nobody wins and nobody loses. The Don't Pass Bet loses if the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11. The Don't Pass bet pays 1 to 1 odds. Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet You can make an Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet after the shooter establishes the point. To make an odds bet you have to click on your original Don't Pass bet. If the point number is a 4 or a 10 the payout is 2:1. If the point number is a 5 or a 9 the payout is 3:1. If you have a 6 or a 8 the payout is 6:5. The Don't Come Bet The Don't Come bet is the opposite of the Come Bet. The Don't Come bet can only be made while the shooter is trying to repeat the point-number. Click on the Don't Come button to place a Don't Come Bet. You can make odds bets on the don’t come bets. C & E Bet The C bet is exactly the same as a bet on any craps. The E bet is the same as a bet on eleven. This is just another place to make those bets.
