Betting In Bank Craps
A game played by one or more players against a casino is bank craps. All players' bets are covered and the odds on the payout are set by the casino. Players roll two dice in turn. The player rolling the dice is called the "shooter". Bets are made on the shooter's dice rolls by other players at the table. Rounds are played in the game. The "come-out roll" is the first roll of a new round. A shooter bets the the table minimum on either the "Pass" line or the "Don't Pass" line. The shooter is then presented with five dice by the stickman. Two of them are picked. The numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 become the Point if they are rolled, and the come-out roll is over. The shooter will now continue rolling until either the point is rolled or a seven. If the point is rolled, the result is a win for the pass line. If the shooter rolls a seven, the pass line loses. Then the dice is passed (clockwise) to the next player who wishes to become the new shooter. For each round or each roll players can make a large number of bets. There are four casino employees in a casino craps. The chips are guarded, the dealers are supervised and the coloring out players is handled by a boxman. Two base dealers stand to either side of the boxman and collect and pay bets. Across the table from the boxman a stickman stands. He takes bets in the center of the table, announces the results of each roll, collects the dice with a wooden stick, and directs the base dealers to pay winners from bets in the center of the table. Each employee makes sure the other is paying out winners correctly. The dealers insist that the dice must be rolled with one hand and bounced off the far wall of the table. This helps to keep the game fair.Recreational or informal playing of craps outside of a casino is referred to as street craps or private craps. In street craps there is no bank to cover bets. Players bet against each other, cover or fade each other's bets. If using money instead of chips and depending on the laws of where it is being played, street craps can be an illegal form of gambling. There are variations of street craps. Betting options offered by street craps are more simplified. To roll the dice the shooter makes a Pass or a Don't Pass bet. To continue the game another player must choose to cover the shooter. The person covering the shooter will always bet against the shooter. Once the shooter is covered, other players may make Pass or Don't Pass bets, or any other proposition bets, as long as there is another player willing to cover.

There is no system that can beat casino in such games as craps. But there are players believing in it. The Martingale System is the best known. The betting is started by a given amount and the bet is doubled whenever the player loses. When he wins he starts over at the initial amount. The idea is to save an amount equal to the initial amount after every eventual win. But after doubling the bet several times the player can be run out of money. The casino wouldn't allow to bet the huge amount. The Martingale system keeps a profit equal to the initial bet amount.
Free Odds Basic Strategy
The free odds bets are bets that you can make on pass/don't pass & come/don't come bets. The player can reduce the casino edge by taking full odds on their pass/don't pass & come/don't come bets.
The Iron Cross
The Iron Cross is a bet that allows the player to win on every roll that is not a seven. Place bets on the 5, 6 and 8 and a field bet are the Iron Cross. The player won't get a mathematical advantage with this strategy.
Gambler's fallacy
It is believed that past dice rolls influence the probabilities of future dice rolls. Each roll of the dice is an independent event. On every roll the probability of rolling an eleven is exactly 1/18.
Parity hedge system
The bets are "hedged" by many players. Multiple bets which minimise the risk of losing are made.
Dice setting or dice control
That the dice are thrown in a special manner is presupposed by this system. That the dice will be more likely to show certain numbers is the theory. Casinos take steps to prevent this. The dice must hit the back wall of the table. It helps to make the controll of the spins more difficult.
