Bets In Private Craps One or more players play against a casino in bank craps. All players' bets are covered and the odds on the payout are set by the casino. Players roll two dice in turn. The "shooter" rolls the dice. Bets on the shooter's dice rolls are made by other players. The game is played in rounds. The "come-out roll" is the first roll of a new round. A player who wants to be a shooter must bet the table minimum on either the "Pass" line or the "Don't Pass" line. 5 dice are presented to the shooter by the stickman. He picks two of them. The numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 become the Point if they are rolled, and the come-out roll is over. The shooter will now continue rolling until either the point is rolled or a seven. If the point is rolled, the result is a win for the pass line. The pass line loses if a seven is rolled. Then the dice is passed (clockwise) to the next player who wishes to become the new shooter. Players can make a large number of bets for each round or each roll. A casino craps requires four casino employees. A boxman guards the chips, supervises the dealers and handles coloring out players. Two base dealers stand to either side of the boxman and collect and pay bets. A stickman stands directly across the table from the boxman. He takes bets in the center of the table, announces the results of each roll, collects the dice with a wooden stick, and directs the base dealers to pay winners from bets in the center of the table. Each employee makes sure the other is paying out winners correctly. The dealers insist that the dice must be rolled with one hand and bounced off the far wall of the table. These requirements keep the game fair.Street craps is recreational playing of craps outside of a casino. The difference between street and bank craps is that there is no bank in street craps. Players must bet against each other by covering or fading each other's bets for the game to be played. If using money instead of chips and depending on the laws of where it is being played, street craps can be an illegal form of gambling. There are variations of street craps. Betting options offered by street craps are more simplified. To roll the dice the shooter makes a Pass or a Don't Pass bet. To continue the game another player must choose to cover the shooter. The person covering the shooter will always bet against the shooter. Once the shooter is covered, other players may make Pass or Don't Pass bets, or any other proposition bets, as long as there is another player willing to cover. One of the most popular casino table games is the game of Craps. Nearly every casino has a table for the game of Craps. Some gamblers consider Craps to be too complicated. In fact it is very easy to play Craps. Craps has its own extensive jargon like ‘boxcars’, ‘hard ways’ and ‘horn bet’. Craps is usually played on a large sunken table. The main element of the game is a pair of dice. The dice are thrown by the ‘shooter’. Shooter is a player who is currently holding the dice. All active players have to make bets and only then the game starts. There are several bets available, each player has to choose one of them. Craps is very popular in the USA. Craps is a fast and exciting game with a lot of action. The intricacy of rules, betting options, and payout ratios make Craps unique among casino games. Many Craps bets offer very favorable odds to the player. If you bet wisely, you can keep the house’s advantage to a very small percentage (about 0. 6% in the best cases). Among the best bets are Pass and Come, especially when you take advantage of the associated free odds bets. It is the casino version of the game that gives Craps its reputation of being a fast paced, exciting game. Players often begin with Craps in the casino because it is one of the easiest games. The main idea of the game is that you place a bet on what is referred to as the “passline bet”. Only when all the bets are placed the dice are rolled. If the total of 7 or 11 is rolled it is a win. You lose if you roll 12, 3 or 2. All other numbers are called point numbers. In the case of a point number this number has to be rolled again before 7 , if it happens you win. If the total of 7 is rolled before the point number it is a loss. There is one more bet available for Craps players. Odds bet means that the casino does not have its usual house advantage and it also hedges on true odds. At some casinos players can be taught the rules and the strategy of the game. At some casinos you can play for free before playing for real money. As a Guest Player you can watch the game of other players and then begin playing yourself for real money. It is very interesting to watch other people playing Craps. Craps is one of the casino games that has the lowest house edge against you. If you make right bets you chances to win are very high.
