Best Bets In Bank Craps

A game played by one or more players against a casino is bank craps. The casino covers all player bets at a table and sets the odds on its payout. Two dice are rolled by the players in turn. The player rolling the dice is called the "shooter". Bets on the shooter's dice rolls are made by other players. The game is played in rounds. The "come-out roll" is the first roll of a new round. A shooter bets the the table minimum on either the "Pass" line or the "Don't Pass" line. The stickman then presents the shooter with 5 dice. He picks two of them. The numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 become the Point if they are rolled, and the come-out roll is over. The shooter will now continue rolling until either the point is rolled or a seven. If the point is rolled, the result is a win for the pass line. The pass line loses if the shooter rolls a seven. The dice is passed to the new shooter. A large number of bets for each round or each roll can be made by players. A casino craps requires four casino employees. The chips are guarded, the dealers are supervised and the coloring out players is handled by a boxman. Two base dealers stand to either side of the boxman and collect and pay bets. Across the table from the boxman a stickman stands. He takes bets in the center of the table, announces the results of each roll, collects the dice with a wooden stick, and directs the base dealers to pay winners from bets in the center of the table. Each employee makes sure winners are paid out correctly. The shooter is usually insisted to roll with one hand and that the dice bounce off the far wall of the table by the dealers. The game is kept fair with the help of these requirements.
Street craps is recreational playing of craps outside of a casino. There is no bank in street craps and in bank craps there is one. Players bet against each other, cover or fade each other's bets. Street craps can be iilegal if using money instead of chips. There are variations of street craps. Unlike complex bets offered by casino craps street craps has more simplified betting options. A Pass or a Don't Pass bet is made by the shooter if he wants to roll the dice. To continue the game another player must choose to cover the shooter. The shooter will always be betted against by the person covering him. As long as there is another player willing to cover the shooter other players may make bets.

A player can choose one of numerous bets.
Line bets.
If you want to make a line bet, you place your money on the area of the table that says "Pass Line" or "Don't Pass". Here Pass Line and Don’t Pass line bets are available. You get paid 1:1 if you win with line bets. Pass Line bet is made if you think that If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area.
Odds on a Line Bet.
If the point number is rolled on the comeout the player is allowed to take true odds against a 7 appearing before the point number is rolled again. You can bet an additional amount up to the amount of your line bet. This bet is called an odds bet. In different casinos the odds bets are different. In some casinos the odds bet amount is the amount equal to the line bet amount or lower. Some casinos allow making odds bets of two, three or even more times the amount of the line bet. The odds bet is paid at a rate equal to the odds of that point number being made before a 7 is rolled. The area behind a pass line bet is for placing odds bets. Be aware that you will not find an area for the odds bets on the craps table. Remember that all the players are allowed to make odds bets, though the house doesn’t want to encourage odds bets. Remember that you can make an odds bet any time after a comeout point is rolled. Every player is allowed to make, to withdraw or to reinstate an odds bet anytime after the comeuot and before sevening out. In the case of a win take all the money and chips off the table. The Odds Bet isn’t as common as the pass line bet. At the casinos there is no special area for odds bets. The player should always remember that he has a right to make a odds bet. If you make an odds bet you believe that the shooter will roll the second point number before rolling a 7. To place an odds bet you have to click on the area behind the pass line area.
